Digital tube driver/LED driver

The CAT4109 is a 3-channel, constant-current LED driver that requires no inductor. LED channel currents up to 175 mA are independently programmed with separate external resistors, and low output voltage operation of 0.4 V at 175 mA enables more efficient designs across a wide range of supply voltages. Three LED pins are compatible with high voltages up to 25 V, supporting applications with multiple LEDs in series. Three separate control inputs, PWM1, PWM2, and PWM3, control the LED1, LED2, and LED3 channels, respectively. The device also includes an Output Enable (OE) control pin that disables all three channels regardless of the PWMx input state. The device incorporates high-temperature shutdown protection to disable the LED outputs when the die temperature exceeds 150°C.
