The VHC08 is an advanced high-speed CMOS 2-input AND gate fabricated in a silicon-gate CMOS process. It achieves high-speed operation similar to an equivalent bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining CMOS low power consumption. This internal circuit consists of 4 stages including buffered outputs that provide high noise immunity and stable output. An input protection circuit ensures that 0V to 7V is applied to the input pins regardless of the supply voltage. This device can be used as an interface between 5V system and 3V system and both power systems such as battery backup. This circuit prevents damage to the device due to mismatched supply and input voltages.
