The ADT7462 is a flexible system monitor integrated circuit suitable for a variety of applications. It monitors the temperature and its ambient temperature at up to three remote locations. Can have up to four PWM outputs. These outputs can be used to control the speed of cooling fans by varying the duty percentage of the PWM drive signal applied to the fans. The ADT7462 supports high frequency PWM for 4-wire fans, and low frequency PWM for 2-wire and 3-wire fans. Measure the speed of 3- and 4-wire fans using up to eight TACH inputs. Can have up to 13 voltage monitoring inputs from 12 V to 0.9 V.
