The MC33078/9 series is a series of high-quality monolithic operational amplifiers using bipolar technology with an innovative high-performance concept for high-quality audio and data signal processing applications. This family combines the use of high frequency PNP input transistors to produce an amplifier with low input voltage noise and high gain bandwidth product and slew rate. All NPN output stages are free of dead-band crossover distortion, feature large output voltage swings, excellent phase and gain margins, low open-loop high-frequency output impedance, and symmetrical source/sink AC frequency performance. The MC33078/9 series are all available in dual, plastic DIP and SOIC encapsulation (P and D suffixes).
