Descripción
The NB7V72M is a high bandwidth, low voltage, fully differential 2 x 2 junction switch with CML outputs. Optimized for low output skew and minimal jitter, the NB7V72M design generates two identical copies of clock or data, operating at speeds up to 5 GHz or 6.5 Gb/s respectively. Therefore, the NB7V72M is suitable for SONET, GigE, Fiber Channel, back electrode and other clock/data distribution applications. The differential IN/IN inputs include internal 50 Ω termination resistors and accept LVPECL, CML, or LVDS logic levels. The 16 mA differential CML output provides matched internal 50 Ω terminations and produces a 400 mV output swing when externally terminated with a 50 Ω resistor to VCC. The NB7V72M is a 1.8 V/2.5 V CML version of the NB7L72M in a tiny 3mm x 3 mm 16-pin QFN encapsulation.
